In conjunction with the new DISCUS Basic 2.0 release, we are releasing an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) add-on feature. This add-on works with any of our DISCUS products and enables the extraction of text from your image drawing using the leading Optical Character Recognition software engine OmniPage from Nuance!
With the OCR Add-on, you will be able to:
- Convert images of text captured from drawings into plain text
- View the converted text along with the original captured image
- Convert and extract text from scanned specifications or any scanned document PDF
