Want to indicate a Key Characteristic on the Drawing?
Under Settings and Balloon Properties, click the check box for indicating a Key and enter a value, such as CTQ. Then be sure to select Key for any applicable characteristic in the Bill of Characteristics.

Find your License information via Settings and License. This is helpful when needing DISCUS Support assistance.
Additional Net-Inspect upload columns
Modify Net-inspect Export via Settings and Net-inspect Export and identify what added columns you want/need.
Changing Autosave/Backup options

Optimize your AutoBalloon settings
Optimize Auto Ballooning Settings by Entering Character Width and Length as 120 and DPI as 400.
Optimize your OCR settings
Optimize OCR Settings by clicking Settings and OCR Settings and set DPI to 400.
Module selection

Remove items not needed in the Bill of Characteristics
Click the 4th Icon on the left to Configure Columns and click to hide or show the various options in the Requirements or Results.
Characteristics out of order?
Click the CN header in the Requirements tab to reorder the characteristics in the proper sequence.
Import custom templates
Click File and Export to Excel and click Manage to import the template. You can then choose to have your template as the default.
Find your template path in DISCUS
Under File and Export to Excel, click Manage and click the checkbox to locate the path where these templates are stored.
