Several interesting findings were recently shared in a new study by LNS Research and others that we will be sharing over the coming weeks and months in blog posts, infographics and slide share format.
One factoid that stood out immediately from the research is the impact on on-time shipments by those manufacturers who are using software based quality management tools. These entities reported achieving a 20.4% improvement vs 12.4% for those not using effective software tools.
What also stands out is a more macro indicator that states that 85% of all manufacturers are pursuing process improvement programs through select and targeted use of software applications.
